The FIDES Glossary aims to provide a clear and up-to-date reference for terms and acronyms related to digital trust, digital identity, digital wallets, verifiable credentials and cybersecurity. While FIDES Labs B.V. does not assume responsibility or liability for the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the information presented, we have made a best effort to compile a representative and neutral glossary.
Definitions are aggregated from publicly available sources, including standards organizations, governments, industry initiatives and official documentation. The glossary is maintained through a public GitHub repository, allowing the community to suggest new terms, improvements and corrections in a transparent and collaborative way. FIDES reviews and publishes accepted contributions to help ensure consistency and quality, while acknowledging that terminology and definitions may differ across countries, regions and trust ecosystems.
